Mapping Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong’s salutations in National Day Rally speeches made between 2008 and 2014, Asanul presents three-dimensional topographical representations of the audio lay. Made with the use of 3D printing technology, the sculptures stand amidst audio-visual projections of the Prime Minister’s salutations and digital technology at work.

Asanul harnesses digital technology and the social media in his commentaries on identity as a social construct. In his work, humour and playfulness are ways he broaches thematically charged content.
